    Thanks Grockle,

    I've been following that thread.

I phoned VW (Australia) today to get a local price on the VW equivalent relay and fell off my chair ($108.70).

Looks like fleabay might be the go subject to currency exchange rates.

These seem to be hard to get here at a reasonable price - and the item is no longer on e-Bay.

Where did you get yours in the UK?

    Cheers,

    Lionel

I was going to call in on VW Darwin when I get there. Will let you know if they are any different in price. Have you tried to source a Bosch one?

Only by googling the Bosch number with no result. The Australian Bosch site is silent on the subject.

When I spoke to VW there was only one in stock in Australia!!!!

I'm sure that there are a few Audis and Saabs at the wreckers that could be donors.

I got a quote on the Bosch from my local AutoOne and they cannot find it under the above part number. It is listed as 0986 335 058 as per earlier post. They had direct link to Bosch. I was quoted $180 for the Bosch, so Aus $108 for the VW sounds pretty good in comparison.

    Cheers
