My daughter christened mine Dug! I have no idea why she just thought it looked like a Douglas, so every morning as I head off to work I get a kiss on the cheek and a say hi to Dug.

I'm back in W.A. now and the fender is at the folks place in S.A. Now for some decisions. I think it is definitely a girl ... every time I refer to it, its still always as "she" or "her".

I think its going to be a choice between Sadie and Sandy, but I'm tending towards the first one.

Cal415, I wonder if Landrover would make a badge like that. Never know, I can just see a limited addition front grill.

    She is a Lady

The kids and my brother decided it should be "White Thunder". Why I don't know, haven't done any major mods to the old girl. When I put the muddies on for some fun I get "Is White Thunder going to play in the mud with her GUM-BOOTS". Afterwards they help me to put on her DANCING shoes.

    Cheers,
    Jurgens

I owned a series 3 wagon years ago and her name was Mandy. My Defender is definitely male and scored the name Bill.

Mine is an older 110 trayback truck by the name of Murdoch. I'd just returned from the hills and valleys of Highland Scotland after a short trip and Murdoch just seemed to suit a large square shaped no-nonsense lunker of a thing suited to running in the hills and valleys of NZ...

Mine are definitely both boys.. I'm not sure why, but they are rather gruff and how many girls to you know that smell like grease and diesel*?

They are Brutus and Hercules. Brutus is the black ex mil 2A in the avatar.. bit rough Herc has the Isuzu.

Sadie sounds good, but what about Sandy? Sandy the Landy, anyone?

*If you do, then PM me their details
    Hercules: 1986 110 Isuzu 3.9 (4BD1-T)
Brutus: 1969 109 ExMil 2a FFT (loved and lost)
