    Time to upgrade the suspension

Well after 38,0000km the Puma needs the rear springs fixed up and new shocks all round

All but 8,000km was done mostly with the Kimberley Kamper behind it and it's now done the Bullman Track 4 times as well. The progressive portion of the rear springs has sagged a little (very noticeable with the trailer attached). Front springs are fine.

So now its off to find new shockies (probably Koni or Billstein, but still to look at what Jamo's got). So who's a good well priced supplier of shockies either here or overseas?

Also has anyone ever run FOX Shocks on their Landie? These are on the Kamper trailer and are very good.

As for the rear springs I'm still undecided on whether to put new OEM coils in with helpers or with poly-airs. The other option is to go to HD's on the rear but then it will be a harsh ride when no trailer.

I'm not interested in a lift as I don't see the need and I don't want to replace the front springs.

So I guess this will open the suspension "can of worms"

    Hi Derek,
Cant say Ive ever come across Fox dampers on Landy's.... Have used them on Porsche Race cars and they are excellent.

I also have them on my mountain bike - they're excellent too.

Both sets have been very reliable and consistant.

Thanks Mrs H I'd seen that thread but hadn't read it. Yes we have been travelling for 95 days but are now home and back at work
