TJM Bullbar and Lightforce 240 Blitz

    Gday

I plan on nabbing some Lightforce 240 Blitzs off eBay sometime soon

But... I just had a quick look and noticed that the spottie mounts on my TJM bar are quite close to the uprights.

Just measured it then. It is 125mm from the centre of the hole to the edge of the upright. Not much clearance at all, but technically they should fit as the lights have an overall diameter of 240mm I think

Here is a pic of my bar with Roolite 170s and you can see how close they sit

I'd just like to hear if anyone had fitted the 240s to a TJM bar

    Thanks for your help

I don't have a TJM bar, but I do have a set of 240 Blitz lights. I'd be they fit. They may sit forward a bit because of the mounting bracket on the lights and the out edge may hang out over the 'up rights' a little. But because the back of the light is tappered it souldn't be a problem. Buy the way, there great lights.
    Cheers

    Hey Jock,

If you have dramas with the clearance between the lights, a simple and neat fix is just bolt a peice of angle iron between the existing mounts, drill the new holes the appropriate distance apart and away you go.

If you spend some time cleaning up the angle, a little black paint and it will look a million bucks.

This same idea can be use to mount 3 Driving light across the front of your bull bar.

    Cheers,
