Damm hard to find anyone who knows what they are doing,no matter what trade it is.

As said its also the reason i try to do as much as i can, whether it be around the house,or on the vehicles. Then i know its done properly.

Had a bloke fix the roof.....you dont have to guess what happened, after the next downpour,it leaked worse than it ever had, wrecked paint on the walls, etc.

The apprentices don't get trained properly,& often the trady they are being "trained " by doesnt know what they are doing either.

In our trade,i have never seen the quality of the tradesman as poor as it is at the moment. It is giving the trade a bad reputation.
I know of company's that are now advertising for staff overseas, they have given up advertising here.

I have had to give away large very lucrative contracts because i could not get reliable staff to do the work

And a few months ago I put a new clutch in the SS.. drove it home and the car had the worst knocking sound.. they forgot to bolt the gearbox back in..nice!
behold the goon is alive and well and working at a dealership near you !!!
that is the worst case of negligence i have heard .....but then i had the RAC put the floor back in with screws that were longer than the originals that go past the plastic retainers under the floor and lost the body fixing to the door/hinge inside the bulkhead again tossers bless each and everyone.....maybe with a bang on the head from underneath a car

Well...I had some spare time today so i dropped the oils out of
the discovery and replaced them with the oil that i use.
Decided to check the front wheel bearings. I have more butter on my
sandwiches that was grease in the bearings, fixed that ok.
Surprise......... Took L/F wheel off, not one but two bolts broken- missing
from the drive flange "cant see em with the wheel on" One of two places where we get our work done. We payed for that. disappointed ? you bet........
