Question Which Coolant in a V8 county

I have been running Castrol coolant in my county for years and have started to have a few problems with the radiator leaking a few years ago. I had the radiator upgraded to a 4 row radiator about 2 1/2 years ago and started to leak again! After getting it serviced again it was suggested I change coolants as the leaks were caused by corrosion around the tubes. Penrite coolant has been suggested. Has any one run this for any length of time or have other suggestions? I run the penrite oil in the engine and am very happy with it.

Coolant has a chemical base. Just changing brands may mean you putting the same chemical mix back into the radiator. The containers usually list exactly what the coolant is based on. I suggest you have a chat with a radiator specialist and take a recommendation from them. I have just bought a County and have to refresh the coolant to, so I will be off to see the local guy shortly.
