All depends on where, how remote, how difficult terrain and how long you are going for. Two weeks isn't long, but if its remote and in difficult conditions that changes things.
I am planning on a two week trip into the outback in March/April next year and am looking for advise. I would like peoples ideas on what spares I should carry for the vehicle. I am know mechanic but can happily perform simple repairs, however where do you draw the line. I would appreciate peoples advice on what spares you should carry put into order of importance (most important at the top)
Many thanks to you all in advance

If you have a favourite workshop they may do up a "trip kit" for you. MR Automotive here in Brisbane do for their regulars.![]()

Actually the best thing you can take is a good supply of water in the vehicle for everyone.

Give All4x4 in Kotara (Newcastle) a call they offer remote spares packs for rent, just pay them what you use on return, you'll get hoses, pipes and belts for your TD5.
