We measured up a d1 plastic tank to fit in our 110, it was alot different and would have been way to much trouble to fit, (i think it was to long) could be different in a 130 thought seeing they are longer

Hi all.
Was just wondering (before I do the work to get the tank out of the car) if the plastic tank in a 97 disco will go into a 96 130 Defender?
I run veggie oil and understand that it isn't good for steel tanks. I bought a disco for its motor and want to use a few of the other parts before i sell the rest of the car
Anyone have any experience with this?
Cheers, Peter

Mums- stock 92 200tdi d1.
when we hired a 110 300tdi at fraser...the guy there fitted jeep tanks to the defenders he said pretty much a straight swap and it was plastic and was bigger not by a hugh amount but enough to make the job worth while
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Our '04 130 has a plastic tank, could you possibly fit a later 130's tank?
