    My 92.9" Tdi... + Questions about SSR Radial

    Hello everybody, I'm a Land rover fan since 1996, date of my first 90Td.

    After that, one 110Tdi,

    one Rangy 200Tdi clean or dirt;...

    Never offroaded..., 1st real off road mods, truetrac rear, side sills, BF AT's


    and for five years my Tdi...

    After that, I install a detroit locker, really fanstatstic off road but "clonky" on the road, just died this year after 4 years of off roading...
    A truetrac come in the front too, and I'm planning to put a truetrac in the rear now...
    A set of brand new 235/85x16 BF Mud...


    It really improve the drivability and direntionnability of the truc in my opinon ;-)
    After that I prepare a special amenagment for travel... Two big 100L safe under rear passenger seats...


    I prepare an AC compressor for inflate tyres... It works for 5 years...

    We went to Tunisia in may 05 for testing all those things... And everything works perfectly, I rescured all toyota's friends...

    Go back to mods on 90"...

    Homemade support for vertical sand ladder...
    Spare wheel tire support, shnorkel...
    Specific interior for sleeping inside... Really comfy


    Secure place for 3 jerrycans of diesel + manual shower + spares etc etc...
    And Up.... The bedroom for one (or 2 but sex necessary.... ;-)

    In the beginning of 97, new bumper

    Skid for rear and front diff (QT)

    Last pictures with 255/85x16








    What about SSR Radial Super swamper, but don't know what size is the best between 285/75x16 (33.9" OD, 11.4"witdh) or 35"x10.5"x16...
    Any opinion (or picts of 90" with those tyres?) :mad3:

    Thanks for the pics!

    Not many run the Interco tyres on Land Rovers in Aus, its mostly the comp trucks or the harder Toyota drivers etc. I've never seen or heard of anyone running the SSR at all. Most here use the TSL, TSL/SX or the Bogger.
