i think their may be something wrong with yours mine has 31's and i tow over 3 ton regularly but didnt find much diffrence apart from 100to 160kmph (privet road tests)

Having just driven 25,000km around the country in my '99 TD5 (chipped and gassed) the one criticism of the old girl was fuel economy. Kept a pretty close eye on it and noticed how important it is to keep the revs down when cruising a brick

Averaged 11.4 litres/100kms sitting at around the 100km mark and i'd like to either be able to go a little bit quicker for the same juice ...or get a little more economy for the same speed
