    Celebrities can occasionally over-capitalise

    Listed today:
Classic Throttle Shop - 2008 Land Rover Defender
How's the price stack up against a brand new fully optioned 110?
And no, I don't know who the previous owner was.
    Cheers, sanbar

I must be a celebrity ... or maybe it's just the friends I have

As for the price ... $20,000 of accessories I don't think so, even I'm not there yet!

    Base price is $44 536.36

And I also don't see $20k in accesories.

edit: that black checkerplate above the steps looks good, pity LR charge so much for it.

If it was owned by someone famous, they must have an alias as it's not a name I've ever heard of.

Google knows him but nothing that I would remotely call famous.

Unless it was a cheapskate celebrity who bought it 2nd hand .

    Huh?

There's a white 110 7 seater Deefer wagon (with the 2.4 V6) at an auto warehouse here in Perth with same Km's for $47k....why pay an extra 12 large just because some numpty owned it and put it in a boutique shop?

I know the CTS and they have some sensational vehicles on the floors. A mint Series 1 80" would be more like it though....

It isn't the one owned by the guys from TV show "The Block" is it? I seem to remember them (Gavin & Warren? - you know, the gay boys) popping up on the news recently and they had a fully optioned up new Defender and were planning some sort of big trip...

Actually, here's a link that might provide the relevant bit of info...

“We love it, we love it, we love it,’’ says Waz as Gav revs up the Landrover Defender (a leftover from their outback trek) to lead us down to the property, just a few clicks out of the village. In the pink
