we had some rain here in the southern part of Israel, the Negev desert, just a drop over there makes the rivers go wild, so look at the pic's of this d90 b4 and after:
the damege is from the power of the water, and thats it!
unfortently two peaple died from the same power this monday, they tried to cross the road with a mitusbishi mugnom one made it out the other two didn't.
the problem with the desert is that the soil does not obserb the water, it all gets to a thondering wave of water (it happens once or twice a year only), but when it happens it it very dramatic.
