    Rooftop Vent

I'm interested to know if anyone has tried fitting a forward facing vent like this

To the leading edge of their defender roof ?

I thought it may be good for pressurising the cabin to stop dust ingress and be higher than the standard firewall vents (less dust).

The ARB details are here. It looks like a bolt on part. You'd obviously need to cut a hole in the roof and headlining.

I've just chucked a couple of Isuzu truck vents on the next Tip load pile. They were fitted to a 110 over the driver & passenger & according to the guy that fitted them they were useless.. ( the vehicle rolled so I cant speak from experience)

dont get them from arb, get them from Universal engineering supplies (UES) - bigger range, and i bet they are cheaper. I have always wanted to fit a safari roof, as they already have the ribs in the county. one day..
