Before you go any further I would check that the chassis isn't from a statutory write off. If that is the case, the VIN stays with the chassis and the chassis cannot be used, so you would be wasting your time and money.

So if it is not a statutory writeoff, and those two places are the only damage, then yes it can be repaired, but you would need a chassis stretcher and 50-100 tonnes of force to do it properly.

The chassis is from an old comp truck

The dmage is f/ds dumb iron and pass front coil turret

I was hoping for a easy repair job but it maybe too much if I need chassis stretcher

It depends how square you want the chassis to be. All suspension mounts are rearward of the damage (it seems). However you would be surprised how much the chassis - especially the LHS - has moved after a hit like that.

yes its repairable.

while a propper chassis jig makes it easy you dont actually need one.

its not the easiest thing on the planet to do.

run a tape measure over it to check it for square.

check out a body shop and see how much they would want to pull it back into square if it is beyond your means to do it yourself.

My father took a HQ tonner chassis to a panel beater with a straightening jig. It cost him around $100 to get it straightened about 4-5 years ago.

Ok went and had another look and the crack on the side goes from the middle of the side all the way the middle of the top of the chassis.

I can get another but he wants double.

I did so measurments and the chassis seems square but I don't know if the 2 rails are level with each other.

I spoke to my engineer mate and he said that repaired chassis will pass the pits if done properly

Offender90 has a 110 county (V8) chassis in good nick which he may be willing to part with.
