    I already have a photo of my drive shaft in this thread and yes the wear is there but the knocking has only recently arrived
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    Arr,found the pic.

    Recon you have two problems,drive shaft rubbing & something else

    I will try & get a pic of sons driveshaft & post it up as it has rubbed worse than any of the pics here,but maybe it's done a bit more flexing.

    since i have a td5 i will never have this prob,

    but just take your exhaust off like i have and you have no probs

    but yes,,, been serious,,, this is a prob on pumas and pretty much all of them do it,, but there has been no problems due to this happening

    2007 Puma - 52,000km - but, new 2009 rear prop shaft at about 38,000km - no marks and heaps of clearance. I wonder if the revised prop shafts are different enough not to rub?

    Hi,
    nope, it sat in a yard unsold for 9 months, but I did get it a lot cheaper.
    Have yet to get the lanotech on to it.

    Nope! Mine has touched slightly, I think only when loaded up and off road.
