    A boost gauge can help - sort of a visual reminder to ease off the gas when you don't have to be at max power.

    And, check that your odo is accurate - even though 235/85 are standard, if you have different tyres it can throw your calculations off.

    All the normal things with a turbo diesel: hoses, clips, intake manifold gasket, intercooler and wastegate ( inc the fitting for the injector pump).

    A big dose (ie a whole bottle of Moreys...) of diesel injector cleaner

    Even with the 1.44 TC, you should be able to shave a couple of points off 13/100.
