Spacing out front grill - Defender

    Gday

I'm fitting a larger intercooler in the future which will more than likely involve spacing out the front grill.

I was just wondering will a late model Td5 front grill surround bolt straight onto a 300Tdi?

When I say late model I mean the ones with the grill that sticks out about 20mm past the side light panels

I'd still like it to look roughly factory

And if it will; does anyone have one?

    Thanks

Jock, I have used a A/C equipped county one before for this reason and it is fine. I would say the Defender ones are the same most probably.

Comparing the three Defenders in my front yard (much nicer ornaments than garden gnomes):
Td5 and 300Tdi appear to be identical
    Puma protrudes forward.
All appear to have the same actual grill and the same dimensions

    So I suspect it will.

    Hey mate

    Thanks for that

The early model Td5s are the same as the Tdi, the late model ones stick out like the Pumas do

G'day Jock, Yeah mine sticks out. (2005 Td5) but me old one didn't. (2001 td5) Didn't the Grill on the 110 county stick out a bit too? - just gives you another option.

County and post 03 grills are the same, apart from a bit of mesh in the bottom of the post 03's. They are also made of fiberglass If you didnt know that already.

Even I am looking out for the extended grill for the Defender. Does anyone know where you can get a new one and what it will cost. I want to add this to my 1990 Def 110 200tdi.
