TD5 130 0n 33's
Hi
I am looking at getting a early TD5 130 Dual cab defender. I want to run 33" tyres however have read on the forum that 130's suffer vibration at between 80 and 100km with standard tyres. Has anyone put a 2" lift and 33's on a TD5 130 and if so what was the vibration like? Ifthere was a vibration can this be elimated through a dual carden joint on the rear shaft?
Thanks

Hi Ya, I have a td5 130 with a 2 inch lift but i dont have 33s or any vibration. so not much help. I have driven one with 33 cooper muddies and id howled and vibrated like make. I was always under the impression that it was the fact that they were muddies not because they were 33s. I am sure that some one on here will be of more assistance though.
The 130s are a great truck though. love em.

Thanks for the reply, I had just read a lot of posts on the site about 130's with and without lifts showing quite bad vibration between 80 and 100 becuase of some issue with the rear drive shaft. I thought this may be made worse by lifting the 130 and running 33"s.
