    TD5 whirr on engine stop

    Not sure if its a new noise, or if I have never noticed it before, but lately when shutting off my 130 I can hear a faint deep whir that slows to nothing (if that makes sense)

    Im probly just being a noob here but what is this?

    Centrifugal would make sense as sometimes there is bubbles as well
    although what is a rotor filter?

    Actually if you can't hear the filter run down on the TD5, you probably have a poorly performing filter. One reason why I only buy genuine centrifical filters.

    That must mean that the Bearmach filters are REALLY good then, because they are way louder than the genuine
