Lightbulb Modifying a 12v Battery Box?

    Hey Everyone

I'm a total 12v novice but have jumped in feet first and got a Ridge Ryder Portable Powerstation with a 75ah battery, have ordered the 160w panels from 4WD Supacentre (due in late Nov) and bunch of 12v LED camp lights etc.

The RRPPS (Ridge Ryder Portable Powerstation) comes with a DC input (fine, no worries there), an Anderson plug for input (from panels) & output, a merit plug and ciggie/acc plug. I'm trying to figure out the best configuration for daytime charging via Anderson plug and night time usage to accommodate 2 sets of LED's (with acc plugs) and a 40l Engel with the posi-fit screw in 12v cable.

My question is this: is it as simple as to drill a hole or two and install a 2 pin polarised Engel dc socket and another Acc plug like this and wire it all up together inside or do I get 3 or 4 connectors and do it all outside, creating a trip hazard for everyone?

If I go the internal route, what do I need to be aware of, what gauge wire should I use and how should I wire it?

    Thanks in advance.

Your plan sounds ok or you could put those 2 extra sockets in an external remote housing, i would think twin 6mm auto cable (4.59sqm) would suffice.
