There are a lot more problems in the world, than wasting time worrying about who drives dual cab utes.

Just let people own what they want.

I know they are trying to force us into EVs,but as we all know they don't suit many, that is why the sales in AUS have almost stalled, people just dont want them.

I have two D/C utes on order ATM,nothing else will do the job that they will do.

We need to get them before NVES really bites, then they will either be very expensive,or have tiny 3 cylinder engines, with reduced reliability and longevity, and probably use more fuel than they do now, particularly as ours are loaded almost on GVM all day.

Or we may get a change in Govt and the NVES will be out the window.....

twin cab utes are quite light compared to a lot of the electric throw-aways. The difference is they are much better for the environment as they will last longer than any lithium battery. The best thing you can do for the environment is drive your car and use it for as long as humanly possible (that way it will not need replacement).

C02 is nothing to be worried about from what I can tell. Its close to saturation in the atmosphere and only 0.039% of the air we breath. It is however very easy to turn into $$$$$ with taxes and greenie nutter schemes.

Yes, a Prado uses less fuel than a v8 rangie did, but it also uses more than a smaller car like the ones we used to drive. Remember when Mum used to have a small car to run the kids around?

I can't find it now (maybe later) but Australias long term fuel consumption is pretty stable. Yes cars are more efficient but we now drive far far bigger cars than we used to.

Which is also why carbon sequestration is so difficult as when a molecule of carbon is burnt it combines with two molecules of oxygen, so triples in volume.

For any genius that thinks atmospheric CO2 is going to kill us by suffocation, it is a problem as it is a greenhouse gas.

Are you are trying to claim the level of CO2 in the atmosphere can't rise much above it's current level (0.039%) because of 'saturation' considerations? This is just not true.
