I remember seeing something on a TV program in the UK years ago.
Fires after a car accident caused by.............brake fluid.
They dripped petrol onto a nice hot manifold and it vapourised, tried the same thing with brake fluid and it ignited.
They then looked at where the brake reservoir was in most cars and it was the same side as the exhaust manifold.
It would have been back in the days of Dot3 or earlier, not sure if modern formulations have the same problem.
