    Sodium-Ion

Thinking of shifting from Lithium? Watch this first. I know, they'll get better blah blah, but they haven't yet.

LFP are getting pretty good. We've worked out how to get the best out of them. They are also quite safe and durable if not the most energy dense.

Yep. It's only that NIB are being touted as the next great thing. Battery tech is not an area where I'd like to be an early adopter. Which is not like me with tech, but batt landscapes change too fast to justify the investment for me, until it settles down. and of course my old cars aren't set up for charging them, and neither is my solar.

I recently read that CATL is developing a dual battery with Lfp and Sodium cells to improve charging in cold weather and of course reduce cost. production has apparently started.
