    Polymer based Solar Photovoltaic Cells

    Polymer based Solar Photovoltaic Cells

I happened to glimpse the ABC's catalyst program. Catalyst is a science program on Thursday nights at 8pm.

Anyhow there was a very interesting article on Polymer based solar cells. Anyway for those of you who are interested in solar power you should check out the program. You can watch it off the web.

I heard on JJJ about a year ago an interview with 2 girls I thought were from a Uni in NSW, who had invented a way to print solar cells and was wondering what ever happened to that idea, looks as though they were not the only ones with the idea....

I have read several accounts of this or similar developments, some from quite a few years ago. Still waiting for them to appear on the market!

New technologies usually take 10+ years to reach the market (which is why patents are for 10+10 years!)
