I've owned a few Subaru's.. Liberty RS Turbo, Forester and then a WRX.. All from new.. Sold the WRX in under 2 years - the engine kept shutting itself off (always when driving, usually 80-100km)... Despite multiple attempts Subaru Australia could never fix it... Just because it's from Japan - doesn't always mean that it's reliable... I wouldn't say no to an R35 GTR though... ;-)

Just buy a 5-6 year old C63 AMG Mercedes and be done with it, fits the kids and groceries and beats all on the road... safe, reliable, build quality second to none...

I've thought that if I ever needed to have a 'sensible' car, I would own the heck outta a fast German wagon. Specifically a C63 AMG estate.

Yes, the GTR is a seriously fast car, I've actually had the pleasure of driving one, but would you believe it, on the day that it was arranged it was raining, so speeds not so good.Quote:
