Australian Ford Ranger, prices and specs

Here is what you Australians can expect from the Ford Ranger. Prices from AUD 46,878 and specs. Also there is a link to a test drive.

Order it now and you’ll get it in 2024 anyway, so already out of date - like all manufacturers at the moment.

SWMBO needed a company car in a hurry for a new job she’s starting and had to get a low KM secondhand unit as it was an 18 to 24 month wait (Toyota Hybrid) for a new version of what she needed.

I’m also looking for a new car but already been told 2 years for the make and model I want, so I’ll also be on the lookout for a low km secondhand version.

I’m wondering if there will be a glut of almost new vehicles being flogged off in a couple of years time when interest rates are 5% higher than what they are now and all these people that have ordered these cars can’t afford them anymore…
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

That's what I'm expecting, and it will be about the time to do something with the D3 or the Chi-lux dual cab.

Probably because they ordered too many and there weren't enough punters who wanted to look like a tosser on the road.

(I'm assuming you were enquiring about other models )

The new Ranger in AWD V6 diesel with a stronger crank than the LR version should in theory be a very good bit of kit with a very impressive payload...but this is Ford we are talking about and their last one had less than impressive reliability. Cheers
