Fitted some secondhand Exmoor Trim front seats yesterday:)

Super comfy :D but some probs and queries.

1. The slide mech does not work too well. The previous owners seem to have covered the slides in axle grease:( Probably a good idea in theory but mixed with dust seems to cause sticking.
Would the fix be to take em out and hit the runners with degreaser. Then what is the best long term lube? Silicone spray or graphite powder

2. Also , there does not seem to be enough clearance under for the slide mech to drop low enough to disengage fully.
What if I fit some extra spacers / washers over the 2 existing to lift it say another 5-10mm?
What is the max lift over the 2 washers to stay legal?

3. Do Exmoor trim have an outlet in Oz and can you advise who it is?

I know with my standard seats that there is 1 spacer under the front mounts, and 2 spacers under the rear mounts. I'm not sure if it's that way from factory - but it works!

Cheers

Mine came standard with 2 under each corner?

I think it still needs to be lifted 5-10mm

Not sure if it helps in your case, but a good lube that doesn't attract dust/grit is teflon dri-lube spray. I used to use it on sail tracks on sailing dinghies where sand and grit would have stuck in a silicon type lube.

Pretty sure I used a Selleys brand one - maybe Ezi-glide or similar - from Bunnings.

You can also get dry moly sprays that might be better for a seat track that carries more load.
