well needing a RWC very urgently i've started on fixing things that i know need fixing. Some of you might have seen my other thread on the situation but to put it in a nut shell i need to get a RWC ASAP as we are looking to move house next month, this is the list..

1.Left hand head light cracked - Second hand one to pick up

2.Vacuum pump leaking - Fixed

3.Ripped seats - Seat covers

4.SRS light coming on while its plugged in - had a look checked all plugs, fuses and everything else but the dash light SRS still comes on and flashes

5.change tyres over from muddies to A/T's

6.change the steering component which is bent (The one that holds the steering dampner - Second hand one to pick up

7.hand brake needs tighting - ??????

8.remove roof rack spots - Illegal

9.chip in front windscreen - Cover with gps holder and hope they dont see it lol - fix it with quick fix

10.condensation in indicator housing - just got x2 new after market ones and already they fill with condensation - might take off and clean inside.

well thats all at the moment, i will put more up when thought of. so some work there nothing too hard. if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix some of these things please let me know.

If you removed the SRS globe would they notice?

Dave.

where is the chip in the windscreen? I have a kit to do it if its not in the drivers line of sight.
Pop one of those little silica gel packs in the indicators overnight (the ones u get with electrical appliances), they'll soak up any moisture:D

Chip is located in the middle bottom of the windscreen. I put my gps holder over it and the gps sits flush with the console. So it's not in my line of sight. Will give that a go with the silica gel packs, haha didn't know that thanks wardy!

I think u can buy the kit to fix the screen chip for $40, but if you're a bit light on, let me know and we'll get together somewhere and do it, takes 30 mins

oh I doubt that will work, theyll start the car, as they do, ALL dash lights flash up momentarily.... dead give away!~ if not theres usually a combo (like start up whilst holding the rear demister button!) that will show all dash lights and sound alarms (light etc) until cancelled. I reckon they'd be all over just popping the globe!
