I have a RRC and the passenger elec lock and window have suddenly decided not to work - they were intermittent for a while.
Any suggestions of how to test what to look for?
Can I by pass the controls and apply 12 volts to somewhere to test that not the motor?
All suggestions welcome.

probably not much help but there was a post here recently about a dry joint problem in the computer of a D1 electric window of which they thought the RRC was similar

Quite possibly a switch fault. I had to rebuild / clean my window switches after I bought my RRC.

If both the window & lock seem to have failed at once, I'd be checking the wiring that runs from the pillar & into the door.

Thanks all for the suggestions.
Scott yes it is the lock and window although they went at different times - both were intermittent for a while. Driver side is fine - as it is a ute there are no rear switches/doors/windows to operate.
So might start with the connection to the door first - what voltage should be coming down the wires to the door lock and window mechanisms? I presume 12 volts?
Anyone know on a 89 rangie what wire I should test?

Sounds like a crook earth connection. The earth would be common to both devices.
Hook up a clean earth and see how it goes.
