air con fault code 21/22 sunlight sensor

hi all,

today of all days my air conditioner in the D2 packed up. the fan is not blowing any air at all, the air cond is clicks on/off but there is no air blowing out the vents. i did a manual check with the lcd screen (auto + direction switch) then switched car on. error code fc 21 & 22 which is the sunlight solar sensor on top of the dash. just happened to have another and swapped the head around but no differences. 3 wires connect to the sensor not sure where they go to. fuses seem all ok. checked fuses under driver side dash and under bonnet (d/s) are there more fuses elsewhere. code states 'open or short circuit, no solar heating connection' what does this mean :mad: many thanks for any help :D

Sunlight sensor will show a fault if you dont do the test in full sun.
Was a recent post with the same issue,burnt fan motor was the issue.

re did the test this morning and a new code appeared fc 00, sunlight sensor was in full sun, need to chase this code down now. thx :D
