Gday...
Today I received the message - "Suspension Failure. Only normal suspension height available" ... together with the amber warning light for suspension.
Was near the dealer so dropped it in for a check and the advice was compressor and relay failure ... needs to be replaced ... not in stock so gotta get it in (3-4 days wait) ... cost around $1,000 plus fitting - probably $1,200 all up.
The D3 has 89,205km on the clock .. so I am a little disappointed :o
Is this a fairly typical life cycle for a compressor?
My other query to the forum is whether "someone" reconditions compressors and if so, I just might keep the 're-conned' one for a spare.
Open to all advice.
Cheers
John
