Hi All
my rear door has locked and wont unlock and i need to get in there and have a look around and spray some silicon around
can i get the inside trim off with the door closed?
Is the window winder remover the standered type tool to remove the winder ?
thanks in advance

probobly not without damaging it...
My mates 110 did something similar, we just sprayed heaps of WD40 down the window gap and in around the lock, handle and where ever we could get it inside the door, after this and a bit of banging on the door we got it working but it still occasionally gets jammed.

You could always remove the hinges and try and release it that way. You have to be careful though as I think they are anti-burst locks not like the old type that opened whether you wanted them to or not :o

when i say rear door i meant the rear passenger door
not the back door to the wagon
just to clear that up

G'day scottygc,
I recently replaced the nearside rear door lock ( although with benefit of having an open door because the bugger wouldn't lock!).
You would have to remove the rear seats as after whipping out the window handle, door handle, lock surround and door latch, the trim panel needs to come inboard as you ease out the 'fir tree' plastic plugs (I don't believe you would have the room to work or remove the panel if seats stayed in situ). Plus the front seat belt winder may be a pain....
Other than that fiddly process, having just poked a look at the Deefer 130, have you tried tripping the spring loaded locking latch from the inside? Given LR's 'generous' body tolerances of the Deefer, you might be able to get a thin screwdriver or fencing wire above the door frame locking post and unlock the sear.
