Hi all, i'm looking for a little advice from those who have 2 wheels when not in their Landy.
What sort of comms do you use between youself and pillion as well as mobile and other bikes. Bluetoooth etc.?
I'm looking at a Senna SM10 and Scala G2. any suggestions would be welcomed.
cheers

The best comms system I had when we had the BMW K1200LT was the Baehr system, absolutely brilliam with near perfect clarity.
Brought this from NZ at a place called challenger motors, (Tony)
It's expensive but for the pleasure and quality you can't go past it. It is a VOX system in full stereo. So good I could sometimes hear my wife snoring on the back.

As wives are adapt at doing :) mine would regularly nod off on long runs even on the old 50's R60 :D would often not make it much further than Hornsby when going to Newcastle

We use the Scala Rider gear. Great stuff - me and SWMBO ride seperate bikes, but can still talk if we need to up to a few hundred metres - great when you want to pull over at a servo, or when you need to discuss where we are going, or why we are lost...:p. It has a good little FM radio built in, and the bluetooth to the phone is great - I can hold a clear conversation on the phone at 120KMH - and my bike has a LOUD exhaust. Most people don't believe me when I tell them I am riding while talking to them. Battery life is good - depending on use, you can get a whole weekend out of 1 charge. Two thumbs up.

Nice! She rides an '09 C50. I'm on an '98 CBR1000F. What's the M109R like to ride - I bet it's awesome. Taking one for a spin is on my 'To Do' list.
Cheers - Gav

Thanks all for your input. I had a look on Net Rider and the links given and found some other sites with comments on the units I was thinking of.
The Scala G4 seems to be the best option for me, so thats what I have ordered.
Cheers

Great, you won't regret it. The g4 is the newer version of mine. I think it has better range now, and will connect to more secondary contacts.

I like the 800cc bikes....
They're cute :D
And no I didn't say that!
But if my wife had longer legs she would have had a M109r as well :)
The M90 wasn't around then.

My wife rides the C50 because she is a short ass, she tried the M90, but she was on tippy toes, and it was a bit heavy. The C50 is definatley not a girls bike - I love riding it when I just want to cruise around. My wife has been asked why she is riding her husbands bike...:p
