Ok
so my stocky fuel filter has seen its last days...went to change the element filter in my 81 RR today only to find it wont screw back in as it should.
Debating chopping the threaded ends off and sticking a normal inline type filter in there.
the pro's I've gathered so far are as followed...
-easier to change
-more readily available
-cheaper
-I don't have to pay for a new OEM replacement or run around finding another s/h unit
My question to you wonderful people is....
Are there any con's?
why shouldn't I do it......I see no obvious reason.
Thanks in advance
Peace
