looks like i now have a 110..{pending some probs being sorted out} 2002 with low 100k kms.......
taking it for a little 3 to 5 months shake down, thats the plan anyhows.....
something like vic to flinders ranges to slow down , up to the partners rello's farm underneath that big stoen in the nt to visit , gunbarrel into wa , polk around the pilbra, pop overto the sea , ruddal np perhaps, up to the kimberly ,over through the top of nt, and either home or ropers bar- bourketown then down to mildura and home to the physio and bank manager
ill pop up a shot o the car when i get it........

havent been able to give it a flogging yet as the local dealers dont have a wheel lock nut thingie...... buggered if i know how they work on cars without them in there workshop.........so im carrying around spare nuts waiting to proposition passing motorists.....:eek:

What's the situation with the lock nut key? You didn't get one with the car, so if you get a puncture you're in deep...?
If that's the case, inspect the one on your spare (the third nut's got a dimple and it's just a cover) and get the code off it. Most UK dealers will post one (the actual lock nut key) to you in under 5 days. The other option is if you still got your Owner's Manual, the code should be listed.
You would that imagine the stealers would have a box with the 12 odd possible options/combinations as a standard workshop accessory...

yea i cant see how they can operate relying on the customer having left one in the car. just looks like penny pinching to me.

My best recommendation - rack the lock nuts off and fit standard ones...
The keys crack at the most inopportune moment leaving you stuck...
I can remove a LR lock nut in under 30 seconds with a socket :) so they serve no benefit to protecting your wheels...

done yesterday lol
ill more than likely put steels on soon.
you will have to make a video tutoial and post to this dealer :twisted:

I had to weld my lock nut up (split) and then run a bead around it - not a problem now.
