Had a look through the search function for scan gauge and analogue gauges for the D4.

It seems that the scan gauge does not show boost and EGT ?, so need to look for an analogue gauge. I like the Autron analogue appearance (which is apparently digital but looks like an analogue gauge). It has both all in one.

Has anyone mounted analogue gauges in their D4....if so any pics would be super.

The only spot I found was the blank to the left of the instrument cluster. I can view this inside the steering wheel.

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

I haven't looked, but can any of those smartphone OBD programs read boost?

Have you seen these.

ThermoGuard Instruments (http://www.thermoguard.com.au/index.html)

DREW (http://www.dashdaq.com/features/gauges.htm)

Not sure they will work as you want them to but worth a look

Stig......what app did you use ? Do you use android or iPhone ?
Did both boost and egt work on these, and what other functions worked ?
I have contacted a couple but none could confirm what functions would work on the D4.
Thanks for the reply.

I use Torque app on android phone and scantool bluetooth OBD reader. I know it shows turbo boost. Not sure about EDG. This setup shows lots of other info as well. It can cause Canbus errors as you need to set the obd reader protocol to match the protocol used in the disco4.

Stornaway .... I think you have won me over. I will check with rovertech to make sure they can fit this for me, then I will place the order. Apparently the light colour can be changed, so will be able to match it as close as possible like the scan gauge.

Yep, I had it matching the D3 instrument color and it went red when the battery was low on charge.
