Hi all. Does anyone have any advice on cleaning my Puma engine bay. Pressure washer, degreaser etc etc? It's pretty dirty oily etc but also worried about having weeks of engine electrical drama if I pressure wash.
Thanks.

I just hose with degreaser, leave it for a while then high pressure off. Haven't had any problems yet on all my 4wd's or cars. Puma included :D

I would warm the engine (NOT full operating temp!!) and use neat truckwash or similar detergent. (I use a product called G101 from Autosmart

Leave for 10 minutes Then hose off with low pressure.

One think to watch is if you take the small plastic cover off the top of the engine, you will see water pooling around the injectors.
I always wipe this area dry as you wouldn't water to seep down through the rubber seals into somewhere it shouldn't be.

use degreaser then high pressure hose,
spray everything (except breather holes & air inlets obviously)

its not going to cause a problem unless you have a fault.

better to find a fault in your driveway this way where you can fix it than getting stranded in the outback somewhere
