475kg might be a little heavy on the transom unless you carry a couple of 18 gallon kegs up the front to balance it:D. But the HP would be phenomenal:eek:

The weight will fade into insignificance once up on the plane....:o
I guess swallowing your tongue and getting nosebleeds from the acceleration G's would also be a bit irritating:(

I would be more worried once you stop and go down pretty quickly by the stern:o
Pretty awesome bit of kit. Just need the right hull to put it on

Only three times as heavy as your current outboard give of take a few 10s of kg.
It would not be the weight on the transom that would stuff you up. When you kick it in the guts it would probably snap you transom from the twist as it fires up and tries to lift your hull out of the water.:twisted:
