Hi fellow Landy lovers,
Went to Wanangatta a couple of weekends back. Played in a deep mud puddle which I had to reverse out of. Silly me - mud under the mats, in the back, you know the drill. Anyway thought I'd check the air filter and there are signs of a small amount of water ingress on the intake (turbo) side of the filter. This has got me foxed. Did it come through the filter? How did it get in? I have a Safari snorkel fitted with tight connections but there is a drain valve unit at the lowest point. Wondering if this might be the offending weak point? It has a rubber flap designed to let water out but not in. Doesn't look great though. Any of you had a similar experience or removed this valve?
