Gday...

Quite probably a dumb question .... but .... the bluetooth feature of my D3 has ceased to work. Worked without a problem since I got it and then one day it did, and the next it did not.

I had a dealer check that I was trying to re-connect my mobile to the Bluetooth but it would not recognise the mobile. The confirmed it the bluetooth was not 'seeing' the mobile. They suggested they would have to connect it up to their 'computer' to see why. However, they were unable to do it while I waited - and I haven't got around to being near a dealer since.

Any ideas from the wise old heads here?

Cheers

Some basic things you may have already tried...

1. make sure bluetooth is enabled on your phone - depending on the phone it can be easy to turn it off accidentally.

2. if the BT was already active on the phone then try to pair another phone. If that works then then the issue is likely your phone rather than the LR unit.

If neither of the above help then something needs sorting out with the LR unit.

You have probably checked it but could it be that Bluetooth got turned off in the mobile somehow? My kids stuff about with my iPhone and turn different things on and off and sometimes it is the Bluetooth turned off that stuffs me.

I have D4 with the standard sound system and at times my iPhone 4 will not reconnect to the LR Bluetooth. I have found that if I turn OFF the Bluetooth in the iPhone and then turn ON again the system connects correctly.
Unsure where the fault is but have found that this works.
It is worth a go.

All of the above was done by the dealer when I called in to no avail,

Guess I will just have make some time to see a dealer and have them wave their magic wand over it.
