Just wondering if it is realistic to use the centers from centre diffs and their diff locks in axles?

Hi Andrew,
Unfortunately not. They are in no way similar.

While were on the subject of CDL's - does anyone have any images of the internals? LT95 and LT230

Lt95 internals are near identical. Only difference is fine spline with LT230 and coarse with LT95. Cross shafts are interchangeable between both.

Near Identical ??? !50 bits in each and the only one interchageable is the cross shafts .They may actually work under the same pinciples , but they are totally disimilar.

We're talking internals here. There's certainly not 50 parts there. Both CD's work on the same principle, 2 side gears and 4 pinions/thrust washers running on the same cross shafts.
