Bumperbar and air cleaner queries 80"

How many different styles of standard bumperbars were fitted to the early 80" S1s?
I am aware of the difference of the early fishplate chassis mounts but was wondering about the differences in rear stiffening panels, mounting plate thicknesses etc. on the later bars. Did the mount width change when the spring hangers moved from the front of the springs to the back?
Were there any discrepancies re dimensions of the bar itself in those early days, narrower, thicker, denser materials etc?
I am aware that there were differences between the 86/107 models with the thicker bottom mounting plates compared to the later 88/109s with narrower bottom plates, but my query mainly concerns 80inch models as we are contemplating a limited run of these in the near future provided we can collate the correct information to satisfy various different vehicles.
I am also in the throes of remanufacturing the 90deg. elbow that goes from the rubber connecting hose to the air cleaner (almost opposite the one with the pre-cleaner) body and would appreciate any detailed photographs of the original item specifically showing its clamping system to the cleaner as well as the hose/pipe position to the sump breather pipe!

GlenFred Lomas in Sydney (Fabristeel Engineering) still has a number of bars already made and has a jig for making them up.

At least 3 types. IIRC: The first 1500 or so had a bumper for the fishplated chassis dumb irons, the crank bracket was fully seam welded and were painted silver.
later 1948 were as above but galvanised.
subsequent fishplate chassis bars had the crank bracket spot welded and bar galvanised.
the early non-fishplate chassis bars (all galvanised) also had the spot welded crank bracket.
later ones had the crank bracket welded at the ends.
By the 1954 86" models the bar was boxed in at the back just outside of the chassis rails.In the non-fishplate chassis, only the 88/109 had the modification to the lower bracket. The bar from the 86/107 (which resist bending when knocked at the end) will fit any 80" without the fishplates.

The later clamps were merely tabs with studs on opposing sides of the interface, which had a pair of forks that held onto the ridge on the air cleaner. (Am looking for an image)

It was only the very very early 48's that had silver painted bumpers. Number 130 here in WA had this when it was found. My number 583 has the original bumper, fully welded starter handle recess and it is galvanised.

Wadsworth panels in the UK make bumpers to suit all models.
