I have a late series 2a metal grille which I would like to fit to my series 3 to replace the plastic one which looks a bit shabby after years in the weather. Obviously the grille will fit straight on size wise, but what fittings are used on a 2a to attach the grille to the radiator support panel? The plastic grille uses screws through holes but there are no tabs for these on the metal grille. I want to avoid just using screws with washers (unless this is how it was done) and I realise it may need additional mounting holes in the support panel, so does anyone have any pictures of what the fittings look like so I can track some down or fabricate something?

Thanks in advance.

Not had a good look at both grills side by side, but, it should be possible to (carefully) weld some mounting tabs to the S2 grill that line up with the S3 screw holes.
This is an idea I have had for a while myself, I like the metal grill, been considering the same minor mod to my S3.

The 2 screws that hold the Landy badge on are used to retain the top of the metal grille. the bottom of the grille sits in "keepers" on the radiator support panel (arrowed in pics).
