Puma dash

Fitting a Mud Pod to the Puma, any tricks to removing the front dash section to run the cable.

Not really. Just undo the two screws that you see in the front facia and then gently pry out the sides. The faceplate "pops" out from four points on the front face and two from the top edge near the clock. Un plug all the connectors from the back and the entire facia, complete with radio, comes out. Easy as.

To pry out the centre dash section without damaging anything, I used these plastic trim pullers from SuperCheap, SCA Door Trim Remover Set - 5 Piece - Supercheap Auto Australia (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/SCA-Door-Trim-Remover-Set-5-Piece.aspx?pid=282096#Description)

I started at the bottom left, then bottom right, worked up both sides to the top.

While you do it extend the alarm antenna cable for better coverage. A quick search on here will give you a how to thread.

Any clues on the search word to use? That's a looong thread and a search with "antenna" only produced a hit on one post that was referring to the radio antenna and the sat phone antenna.
