Hey,
Driving along last night and both the TC and ABS lights came on. Pulled over, switched the ignition off, restarted. Lights back to normal. Happened again this morning. Anyone had anything similar?
Cheers Bob.

Hi. I had similar. I checked codes with a nanocom and found the pump was running permanently. Just needed a new pump relay, which was $80 and all good.
Good luck.

Yes at the beginning of a problem run of TC /ABS issues
Get a Nanocom or equivalent and check what codes are coming up.
It may be a wheel sensor with crook wiring or too much air gap failing that it could be a Shuttle Valve fault.
If its a crook sensor buy them from the UK they only cost about 75 Pounds each if its a Shuttle Valve fault beware of option B on a Defender
It is very easy for the modified wiring to short on the mounting and jam the front brakes on this happened to me and isn't much fun.
If you cant get a Nanocom or something to check codes, go around with a large screw driver and bump each sensor home with the heel of your hand
Don't use a hammer you will damage the sensors

Came on again on the way home, checked the relays and one seemed very hot to touch.
JC has offered to plug me in:cool:
Hope it's just the relay!
