I have an oil leak at the junction of the oil pipe and the front of the turbo.
I take it that a special gasket is required.
Is there anything else or any nasties lurking there for me?

Yes.
If it's the banjo fitting at the top: ADU6847L (x2) around $0.50 each
If it's the drain at the bottom: PNT100030 (x1) around $2.00 each
Genuine parts are probably double the above prices.
It's been suggested you can reuse by annealing but given cost of new replacements I don't see that it's worth it.
In terms of nasties - nothing that I'm aware of. The only advice I'd give is to make sure you torque to the correct settings given in RAVE.
cheers

The main thing to check is that the drain fitting flange is actually flat still. i have had to remove several of these drain pipes completely and reface them as they become warped and they continue leaking after a new gasket is fitted.

Sorry I have not made myself clear. It is the pipe IN FRONT of the turbo which runs down to the underside of the engine. It looks like it may supply oil lube / cooling to the front turbo bearing.
Regards Nick.

It is a flat flange with two bolts holding the parts together( with a gasket between)
Regards Nick.
That is the one I was talking about. 2 bolt flange under the turbo and drains back into the block.
