Is there a particular specification for spark plug leads for a 1971 IIa 2.6L engine, or do they just need to be the right length, with the right attachments at either end?
My local Repco and Autobarn can't find current parts numbers in their books, but there are lots of leads of different lengths hanging on the wall behind them.
Should I just measure my old leads and go and buy new ones the same length from Supercheap (Bosch, I think)?

I looked at supercheap yesterday and I'm pretty sure they have leads for the 2.6 6cyl. There's not much difference in performance between leads that suit your engine and ones that do as far as I know. My IIA ran of Mazda leads for a long time and never had a problem but when I replaced the leads with new leads and dizzy cap, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! New plugs, leads, dizzy cap, points and rotor arm make a big difference if you replace your really old ones.

Did they come as a set?
I have just looked up Bosch part numbers on the web and they specify same part number for cyls 1-4, and a different number for 5 and 6. Set may be the same?

Lift the bonnet of a night and have a look at where the sparks are dancing, that's where the performance is!
