Hi all

The squeal wasn't the belt its the front manifold stud.
It has broken.
Just wondering how easy it is to replace.
Should i replace all the studs while I'm at it our just the front & rear one?
Do i need to replace the gasket also if there is one?

Is it a big job that needs a mechanic or can i have a go at it easy enough?

Thanks
Mick

Hi Richo
Yeah I might give Sunbury exhaust a call.
Mate hanging for a drive.
As soon as the cars fixed.
I'll get it done next week.
I'll call ya.

Is it. TD5?

If so then it is likely the manifold has warped, it may need machining. Fix the problem long term. From what I remember (and the info is on here somewhere), drill out the holes on the manifold to 10(?) mm and have the webbing slotted. That should prevent any future warping.

Thanks for that.
Sounds like a job for an exhaust pro.
Cheers
