just thought id pop up a photo of an Exmoor trim pre production 80 inch hood{flat hoodsticks} fitted to an 86 inch
Please forgive the dodgy hoodstick, its first try and im going to bend up another with more accurate 6 inch radius bends, its also bent to the rear a little to much.

 unshure of what you mean re bonnet?... apart from painted spare holder i thought it was normal lol...dont tell me its off an 88 inch or somthing{cant bee cause theres under an inch overhang at rad pannel????
only downside of the hood so far is that it has 1o loops not 9 like te 86 inchs,
i thought id get the tabs relocated fter its shrunk . But 2 short peices of high tensile wire hold it fast and are neet so i may leve it like that
bear in mind that the hoodstick was bent around a tree and the corners arnt 6 iknch radius , hence the way the canvas looks a bit creased and the fume curtain isnt held down with the straps, just the silver clips

No problem. Just the photo makes the overhang look longer than an inch.
Sorry to read about your troubles. Maybe a compression test will show something.

the bonnet is off a 88 109 20 mm longer if you want original i will swop you just run a tape over the length also the hinges are longer on a 88 bonnet also check the backing plate on the dizzy if well worn will move

the overhang at front is about a cm from radiator panel{any shorter and youd struggle to open it with tire on bonnet} so I guess its an 86 bonnet

why did you get a 80" 3 seater and not a canvas made for an 86" land rover??

the ridiculous price of bent hoodsticks . difficulty in getting info from allwheel trim on an 86 inch 3 man hood ,and I like the flat hoodstick look..
