Hi - Puma 90 has quite solid suspension and I was wondering about Rancho 9000s. Anyone got them on their truck? I see they have a new to wireless handheld adjuster for them too - sounds cool?!

Double ditto, much better dampers/shockies available.

I was thinking something adjustable - waste of time? - my road/driveway has corrugations and on the hway the suspension is too hard (yes I'm allowing for it being a SWB too).

If the suspension is too hard for the Hwy then it's miles too hard for corrugations.

Rough rule of thumb, springs control ride, dampers control springs.

What tyre pressure are you running ?

Lower your tyre pressures. Depending on tyres, 28-32 psi generally gives an acceptable ride in a D90. I ran my original General Grabbers at 28, and run their replacement (Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar) at 31 psi.

Will do - I mean its ok for highway (motorway) but around CHCH and elsewhere there are always road works etc. I'll check the pressures too thanks.

I've heard they are good... You don't know the model number I'd need for my 90?

Just jump on eshocks.com and have a look, they are the cheapest place to get them, and search by vechile type.

I'd love a 2inch lift if I could get away without extended brake lines, castor correction??

2" is fine with out castor.

ext brake lines are a must. (cheap for braided lines from paddocks. goodridge brand)

Most be just run 80 series lc shocks.

Std lenght 80 lc shocks are about 2' travel.

Fronts will bolt straight in and rear will also how ever they need to be run upside which is not a problem with bilstiens as they are mono-tube.

You don't gain much running TLC 80 Series Billies, you need to run 82 Series Koni's or OME to get the near extra 2" of travel.

You also need to raise the towers and extend brake lines or you will pull lines out and destroy the shocks.
